For international graduate students or scholars coming to Duke in the Summer or Fall term we have several fully furnished rooms in shared houses on Chapel Hill Road or Sprunt Avenue starting in mid-April 2025. The houses are fully furnished, even down to the sheets, pillows and towels. Prices for the rooms vary from $700 to $940 per month, depending on which house you choose. This price includes all utilities, including heat, cooling, water, gas, and wifi. For a small additional fee, renters can use one of our bicycles. The house Chapel Hill Road house is located just less than 2 miles south of Duke's main campus. The houses on Sprunt Avenue are closer to the north side of campus. Most of our renters are international graduate students, but US students are also welcome to apply. Our leases are usually for 2-6 months, with an option to renew. Shorter terms can sometimes be negotiated.
