The apartment has about everything you could want -- comfortable double bed, linens, comforter, towels, cookware, dishes, eating utensils, pour-over coffeemaker, microwave, toaster oven, hot water kettle, high-speed internet, HD television with several streaming services, two-person eating area, easy chair, wall unit with desk, office chair and tall bookcase. And as mentioned, a four-burner electric stove with oven, and a full-size (not "apartment size") refrigerator with freezer. You will have use of an LG washer and dryer in the laundry room, where you'll also find an iron and ironing board.

The landlords (Heidrun and Bill Erwin) live in another part of the house and are home most of the time. So we can respond promptly if you need something. The streets are well-lit at night; it's not unusual to see neighbors walking their dogs long after dark.

Our Old West Durham neighborhood is welcoming and diverse, popular with joggers and baby-carriage pushers, as well as dog walkers. You'll get a smile and a "hello" from most of the people you pass on your walks.
